  i am getting this message when i try to run Mechanical APDL Launcher after installation of the Ansys student.
  
  can someone help me to solve this?

  Open up CMD Propmt, then type
  
  set
  
  and post the screenshot of the output of it here (make sure you capture all of the output)
  
  Also, what is the output of
  
  ping %computername% -4
