SubscriberAt the moment I am trying to electronically simulate textured solar cell devices, which consist of multiple layers. However, Lumerical CHARGE keeps showing me the error that the tesselation step fails. I tried to change several mesh parameters, wbut without succes... Does anybody know what could be the issue?

Ansys EmployeeSuch problem can happen when there is long thin layer, curved surface touches a plane, or sharp corners. In your case, if it is not from thin layer,it is likely from the sharp tips of the pyramid. If so you may need to smooth it, or try to reduce the triangle sensitivity, or deflection:
