If I want to input sequential displacement in WORKBENCH AQWA time domain calculation, can I solve the force of the floating body? How do I input sequential displacement?

Aqwa cannot do it. Aqwa solves the structural accelerations and reaction forces at joints together in the extended (motion DOFs and constraint condition) equations at each time step. Â

Thanks for your reply! I recently learned that in versions after 2022R2, workbench can transfer the displacement, velocity, and acceleration of rigid body dynamics to AQWA. May I input displacement to AQWA in this way?

Aqwa-Rigid Dynamics co-simulation uses Aqwa to calculate the hydrodynamic force and mooring force, and uses Rigid Dynamics to calculate the motions and joint forces. Aqwa cannot directly import the displacement, then calculate the joint forces.Â
