SubscriberSo, I was running an FSI on an aortic valve of the heart but I have this problem .after a certain time step, I get negative cell volume. i change the re-meshing parameters when that happens and it seems to work for one or two timesteps than it gives the same error.i have played around with solution stabilization and implicit update and lots of other stuff but it gives me this error.

Forum ModeratorIt often means that the motion is too fast for the current time step & cell size. Reduce the time step and also check how the remeshing is behaving in case you're getting small gaps.

Subscriberi have checked remeshing parameters and tried to manipulate it with the mesh metric info. it seems to fail anyways .yeah, reducing the time step might help but i dont know if i can change the time step in the middle of the simulation .i have significant solutions until this failed time step .

Forum ModeratorIf you can stop & restart the solution you should be able to change the time step. Otherwise you may need to start again.
