Sweep the surface along a curve

      Hi,

I am trying to sweep the surface along a curve to generate the body. But I cannot find that function when I press "extrude" button. Is it because the fluent V19.2 in my computer is a student(academic) version?

      Best,

No. The tool is in DesignModeler though, not Fluent.

It seems that the top-left corner of my spaceclaim does not show the options.

      Normal spaceclaim:

      My spaceclaim:

Could you please tell me the reason? How can I let these options show up?

I think you've mucked up the interface settings. Go to File -> SpaceClaim Options -> Appearance and use the "Reset Docking Layout" button.

I'll move to pre-proc too as this isn't really a tutorial question.

Thank you for your reply, but it still does not work. When I press "pull" button, still no option shows up on the left top corner of screen.

You click the Pull tool then click the circular face, then you click on the Sweep button and double click on a path curve, then you can click on the Full Pull button.

You have a defective installation. Here is a procedure that will create a new profile for you. Quit ANSYS.

Open Windows Explorer.  In the text field type %appdata% and you will see a list of folders. One of them is ANSYS. Rename this to ANSYS_old.  Start ANSYS and see if this fixed the problem.

If that didn't fix the problem, you can try to uninstall ANSYS and reinstall it.
