      What resolution method is used for the Fluid calculation in Discovery (SPH? LBM?) ?

      Hello, 

      Resolution in Discovery do you mean Fidelity of the solution? The fidelity of the solution is controlled primarily using the slider in the stage navigator.

      This acts differently depending on if you are in Explore or Refine stage. In both cases an increased fidelity will capture additional detail but will take longer to produce a result.  Optimizing Performance with Solution Fidelity (ansys.com)

      For Fluid flow, we can use Curvature and Proximity Size Function from Global fidelity settings which controls how the mesh size is distributed on a surface or within a volume. For more information, you can refer Curvature and Proximity Size Function (ansys.com)

      Hello, 

      To elaborate on this, it is not using Lagrangian approach, it's Eulerian and uses Finite Volume Method. I hope this answers your question.

      It is for both explore and refine ? The customer also asks me if the method used is Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, Lattice Boltzmann methods,... ? Thank you

      Yes, for both. You can refer this What simulation technology does Ansys Discovery use in Explore mode? for more information. 

      Ansys Discovery uses state-of-the-art ANSYS flagship solvers under the Discovery Refine mode to perform high fidelity simulations to validate concept designs. It uses Mechanical APDL solver for performing Structural simulations and Fluent solver for performing Fluid flow simulations.

      Other than this, we do not have any information related to Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, Lattice Boltzmann methods in Ansys Discovery.
