You can type in a high stiffness value for the springs.  Spings are useful because they converge very easily.

You could instead draw a line body where each spring goes. Make sure to mesh with exactly 1 Link element on each line. Connect the end of the line to the diameter of the rigid roller. The effect will be the same as the spring but will be a lot more work.
