I'd like to see where the transmissive light goes. So is there a proper analysis group for FDTD?

Is this periodic strucutre or isolate ?

For periodic structures, you will need to use plane wave and periodic BCs and use grating analysis to get results of diffraction: Diffraction grating

if it is isolated, you will need to use TFSF source to quantify the scattering: Mie scattering (FDTD)
