I am meshing a three-dimensional sinusoidal channel with a high width-to-depth ratio using FLUENT meshing. I generated the mesh by providing the maximum and minimum mesh sizes. The number of mesh nodes is sufficient in the length direction, but the mesh nodes in the width and depth directions are very small. I need more mesh cells in the depth direction. How can I provide that?
I tried to refine the mesh using face size, it increased the number of mesh cells near that face but did not increase the mesh cells in the entire width.
How can I provide more mesh nodes in the depth direction?

Hello,
Try using local sizing. Maybe proximity or face sizing.
