Ansys EmployeeHi Brandon:
I would recommend looking into the background files in Workbench to find your answer, as "update failed" is just a generic error for an incomplete Forte simulation. If you go to the View Menu and click Files, Workbench will display a listing of the project files. You are looking for a Forte.log file, which will give the output from Forte during the attempted run. There you will often see the reason for the failure.Â
Once you find this file in the Workbench listing, you can right click its name to be taken to the file location. There, you can open the file in Notepad or other text editor to view the contents.
I hope this helps.Â
Best Regards,
Judy
