Hi Tom,

I think you can import 2D geometries. Just make sure that surface and line bodies are on the xy plane (SOLIDWORKS Reader (*.sldprt, *.sldasm) (ansys.com)

You can also import Solidworks sketches in Workbench, but you will need to change 'Mixed Import Resolution' in geometry cell properties. Right-click on geometry cell and then choose properties. Here in the list of properties you can find 'Mixed Import Resolution' option.
