Hello Abankwa,
Please make sure that the moving part is not in contact within the band. You can try creating an inner region inside the band overlapping the moving part. The inner region would help to unify the whole moving part.

Thanks Sir , i took my time to do it and it worked out successfully.I am very grateful.my problem was the results obtained for max torque as compare to 2D simulation was not the same.The results obtain for 3D simulation was quite lower compared to 2D simulation.Can you kindly help me.

Hello Ebenezer,
The reasons for difference in Maxwell 2D and 3D results comes becaouse of the following reason.
1) In Maxwell2D the default results are computed considring 1meter length. Make sure that the length of the motor is specified in the Design setting.
2) If the stator and rotor are of differnet axial length . In Maxwell 2D inorder to account for the differnt lengths the BH curve is modified, if this is not considered the 2D result can vary from3D simulation.
3) Difference in mesh

Thank you Sir .my own was as a result of mesh.
i.Sir does 3D simulation gives accurate results than 2D.
ii. please can you guide me to plot the radial and tangential flux density for inner and outer air gap for 3D magnetic gear
iii.Please under steady state condition of a magnetic gear ,what are the conditons to apply to the bands settings in ansys maxwell .
