I heard that there is a case of interpreting Mach number more than 10 in Fluent Pressure based poured solver, can you tell me where the data is?
Is it possible to solve a case with a Mach number of 10 or more on the Fluent Pressure based coupled solver?

      Hi,

I suggest you to check tutorial on high mach number: Chapter 26: Modeling Ablation (ansys.com)

      Hope this helps you

      Hello,

I believe Mach number greater than 5 calls for a hypersonic flow, as air molecules will start to dissociate at such high speeds. You might want to use density-based solver instead of pressure-based. I would also recommend you to use two-temperature model with cfd_hsf license installed on your system.
