SubscriberHello Forum,
Im having trouble pre-processing my geometry to make it suitable for CAA (Computational Aeroacoustics) in CFD. I specified an outer domain enclosing all the geometry and an inner domain enclosing only the quadcopter propeller. I want to model the acoustics without any airflow (vacuum-like) and obtain the data comparing Sound Pressure Level (dB) vs. Frequency. Is this setup sufficient? This is for near-field acoustics btw.Â

Ansys EmployeeHello Juan,Â
I'm not sure I understand when you say you want to model the acoustics in "vacuum-like" conditions? How will sound propagate if you don't have any fluid?

SubscriberSorry, I meant that I want to model this in an area where no air flow is permitted. Sort of an indoor testing.
