displacement scale factor

      Hi,

      I have a question regarding the animation of the results. I have a block that is gravity initialize in the water and then is subjected to the earthquake loads. The deformation under gravity initialized is much bigger than under dynamic loads. So, when I apply the scale factor to see the movement of the block better, it jumps out of the screen. Do you have any recommendation for me to show it nicely? I mean apply SF for the movement of dynamic loads and we skip the scale factor for gravity initialization? Thanks

      Currently, we plot modified coordinates as follows:

      x=x0+dsf*(x-x0)

      where x0 is the initial coordinates.

      I have asked the LSPP team to make an enhancement, where we apply the scale factor to a user-specified state k, i.e.

      x=xk+dsf*(x-xk)

      Potentially, we can also set dsf=1 before state k, and to the user-specified value afterward.

      I cannot say at present if and when this new feature might become available
