Hello All,
How can I accelerate the post-processing in Maxwell? It takes quite a long time to create a 3D streamline plot (even 10-20 minutes) on a strong PC (2 CPU, 24 physical cores, etc.). I have already checked the general settings where I enabled several cores for post-processing (see attached picture) and I was also monitoring the performance (cpu usage) in task manager (attached picture). Task manager says that only 1-2 core (!) was used during the process.
I use ANSYS Maxwell 2023 R2.
Is there any other option in Maxwell / Electronics Desktop where I can allocate more cpu resource for this task?
Thank you!

Hi,
Creating streamline plot is like create a new complicated 3D model and render the model. I don't think this part of work relys on CPU.
