How to see orientation of fibers (composite)

      Hi,

Does anyone know how to see the orientation of fibers IN Ansys Mechanical.

In the Layerd section I rotated fibers in relation to x axis, but the x axis in global coordinate system is normal.

      Thanks in regard.

I have not done much composite modelling in ansys, but the information below shows how to visualise the fiber directions (help manual/ graphic options toolbar):

Think though this is only valid when ACP has been used. If layered sections are used than Ex (say fibre for a ply) is along the element local orientation of X, and so on.

I got some problems with this.

I clicked on that symbol, but it doesn't work.

The orientation will show up after you create a ply and click on it.
