DEFINE_ADJUST, macros C_UDMI, boundary surface fluxes, change phase

I am new in this field. so it seems like I'm having a lot of trouble using it.

Q1: I have one boundary from where the particles are released, which is specified as the number of particles released per unit area per unit of time (which is the flux). I use the Udf type: DEFINE_ADJUST to conduct it.
I am trying to use CUDMI to store the value.
What happened with my case? have any inconvenience when I chose the DEFINE_ADJUST method?

      Q2: Hi everyone,
I analyze a computational model that uses the mixture model. How to change from a fluid grid cell to a porous medium cell in Ansys Fluent ? the assumption that, after reaction processing, the volume of species considering magnitude at the plug interface for each cell is computed. The grid cell has a volume of species greater than Vcell to change from a fluid grid cell to a porous medium cell.
Could you suggest another way to fix it? Thanks a lot

Thank you in advance for your help.

I don't follow what you're trying to do with 1)   DPM macros are handled a little differently, so check if you're trying to find a cell value or DPM value.

      2) Are you trying to make a cell porous as something happens? Have you tried making the whole region porous but only set a resistance in some cells? I've no idea how stable that will be, that's something you can report back on.
