Can you please share the image of the Disocvery screen how its shown for you? Also, please share the image of this ANSYS Discovery: Compatibility Utility  run from your machine?

Hello Magnus, 

With AMD cards and non-compliant NVIDIA cards, Discovery still functions but access to the Explore stage, or to the Refine stage using the LiveGX solver, is disabled. You can refer this Ansys Discovery Hardware Requirements (2024 R1) - Ansys Knowledge for more information.

Hi, does that mean that with my current AMD GPU computer, even though it shows that I am compatible with Discovery Explore Stage, I still cannot use it?

Hello Magnus, 

AMD is not supported in Explore mode as mentioned in the hardware requirements. Compatibility checker is somehow showing it as compatible and we have reported it to be corrected.
