 Can someone explain me when should I apply free-slip boundary condition and why? 
 I am simulating rise of air bubble through glycerine, while trying to match the results from a research paper. In the paper for left and right wall no-slip boundary condition was applied. When I tried same simulation, I reduced whole domain into half and applied symmetry BC to left wall and no-slip BC to right wall but I didn't get the same results. When I changed the the BC of left wall to slip I got exact results, why did this happen? Also is no-slip BC for bottom wall ok?
