Apply a Force in a Local Coordinate System by respecting this local direction

      Hello..

I am trying to apply a nodal Force in a Local Coordinate system Direction, but in the simulation it doesnt respect this given direction, even when I constrained the node with SPC in the same Local Coordinate sytem, I am using Explicit Solution. Does anybody knows how can I make Dyna to respect this local Direction always no matter what?

      Thanks

      Hi Alfrdo,

Have you used the CID in the *LOAD_NODE_ ?

If you set so you should see that the load will be applied to the local Coordinate system rather than being global and DOF to the specific component

since I have a single element, I have scoped to four nodes, but you can scope to a selective node as shown in the above image too.

      Cheers, Ram

      Hello Ram..!!

Thank you for you response..!!  Actually I did it just like that, but it doesn´t respect the local system, I don´t know Why. I did a tryal by applying the load in a Global axys, and it worked, I mean it Does Respected the global direction, but it does not if I use a local System  :( . This is my Set up
