CFX post – How to Plot cross sectional area along length L

      Hi all,

I have a 1-way FSI where the inner lumen of a tube is crushed and therefore the fluid field. Please see the fluid region end result below:

My question would be: How can I plot the total cross sectional area in the zx plane along the length, L of this deformed tubing?

      Kind Regards,

      Zach

what exactly you mean by total cross sectional area?

what variables you want to plot?

If you were to go in the + y direction starting from the far left (inlet), you can calculate the cross sectional area... I would like to follow this tubing along it's axial length to display that cross sectional area as a function of +y.

You may be better displaying by axial position rather than y-coordinate? Create a plane at each position which cuts across the tube and under Results report the area.
