SubscriberHiÂ
I have installed optics and launcher and obtained trial license. I want to look at the ring resonator using the FDTD solver.
I tried installing the FDTD from optics launcher, it didn't work out.Â
How can I view and run the simualtion of Ansys design  "ring_resonator_fdtd.lsf" ?

Ansys EmployeeHi Kirthika,
Can you tell me what is the issue? Are you getting any error while trying to create a new FDTD project from Optics Launcher? A screenshot would be helpful.

Ansys EmployeeHi Kirthika,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot! It seems that you haven't installed the solvers on your desktop. Can you download and then install Lumerical from the Customer Downloads page:Download Center

Ansys EmployeeHi Kirthika,
Please note that the Optics chanel of this forum is for Speos and Zemax.Â
For later question about Lumerical, please use Photonics chanel :Â /forum/forums/forum/discuss-simulation/photonics/
Thanks
