Problem defining the surface of the crack in the solid

      Why can't I select the left part of the bottom surface of the solid shown in the attached image as a crack surface within the Ansys Fracture Arbitrary Crack module?

      I think the problem is that I have not correctly established the connections between the crack plane and the surface of the solid. I would appreciate your help with the contacts issue because it is too advanced knowledge for me.

      I want to obtain the SIFS (K1) at the bottom of the crack. I have managed to do it for the complete model (attached image), but it takes a long time to solve the model. That is why I want to get the same results for half of the model using the symmetry restriction.
