Directional Deformation in a model structural FEA analysis

      Hello,

I have a question on how can I define the directional deformation on the model simulation results.

At the attached image, you can see the directional deformation as one of the results I had chosen to obtain in the Solution of the analysis. it is a static structural one.

The Directional Deformation that there is as an option in Solution (Insert), comprises Directional Deformation X Axis .

What I want to have as a result, since I have applied the load on the top cross-section of the cylindrical sample, and according to the x,y,z coordinates, this axis I am interested in investigating and I have applied the load is Y Axis.

How can I define the results of the simulation for load I have applied to be in Y Axis and not in X Axis?

      Thank you.

      Kind regards,

      FX

Look in the Details window for the Directional Deformation and there is a row to change the axis from X to Y axis.
