Force Calculation on a Specific Coordinate

      Hello,

I have a brief question. I want to find acting forces for specific points on a wall. I dont want to give name to the each wall because my domain is rotational and I need to split every wall into different sections. I tried to create points in SpaceClaim but since fluent didnt see the points, it didnt work. So is there any way to find forces on a points or specifid coordinate in fluent?

Not from the Force Reports as they need a surface (area) to function. You can report the pressure and use that.

        Hi Rob,

Thanks for your answer but there is a piston in the system that I need to calculate acting force on it to understand whether it slide right or left. So I think pressure results wont help much.

Then you need a surface. That can be a single facet so you can split a small section of the existing mesh to use for reporting. Have a look at mesh separate and (adaption) registers. However given pressure is force per area adjusting the values should work.
