SubscriberHello,
I am trying to mesh an assembly of a solar air heater (shown in the pics below). Just FYI, the heater is made up of a wooden box with a glass cover. Air flows through the convoluted pipe. I am trying to conduct the CFD simulation for the same.
So far, I imported the geometry from Solidworks into Ansys and tried to apply the default mesh, but it is giving me the following error:Â
" Patch-conforming tetrahedron mesh failed because of an edge intersection in the boundary mesh" (refer the last pic)
Should I play with the mesh settings? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Ansys Employeeopen solidworks geometry in design modeler first.Â
use sharetopology.Â
check if geometry has any errors using tools - analysis tools - fault detection.Â
if any errors then correct them and then go to meshing.Â
