UDF for two way FSI to simulate flight trajectory

      Hello ANSYS Users;

      i am facing a problem that needs to be solved. i have one aerodynamic body say REV and i want to simulate its trajectory covering thermal and aerodyanmic loads. i want to transfer data from fluent to thermal mechanical and then thermal loads transfer from thermal tab to fluent. so it is 2 way coupling process and to solve such problems, i need UDF that automate 2 way coupling process.

      we have various trajectory points data like pressure, alpha, altitude and density then these loads are transmitted to thermal (mechanical) in which the body has proper material and thickness. so aero loads get some thermal diffusion in the body and then these thermal loads are again transferred back to fluid.

      so it is requested that someone may help me to write its UDF and programming as i am quite weak in programming.

      waiting for kind response please

      Hello,

      I would strongly recommend you go through the Fluent customization manual. It contains several examples. You might find a similar UDF which you can make small modifications to suit your needs.
      Please refer customization manual for writing UDF for your application: Part I: Creating and Using User Defined Functions (ansys.com)

      Hope this helps!

      You can find the system coupling tutorials for your referrence: System Coupling Tutorials (ansys.com)
