I am able to create layered element for solid geometry using solid185 in ansys apdl using element option k3. How to do the same in ansys workbench without usin ansys acp.

Ansys Mechanical provides a convenient way to define simple layered sections for a surface body to simulate composite materials. This KM highlights several key points in defining layered sections and post-processing the results in Ansys Mechanical. Layered Sections in Ansys Mechanical.
However for more advanced analysis of composites in complex geometries, please refer to Ansys Composite Prepost (ACP).Hope this helps.
