SubscriberHi, I am a beginner. I am creating a microchannel with sinusoidal roughness. I have imported the coordinates file into design modeller and created the surface body for 2d analysis. I have meshed the geometry and provided the named selections. However it is not appearing in the fluent solver and I am not able to provide the BCs. The following is being displayed in BC.

Forum ModeratorIn Meshing check for Contact Regions. If the geometry is small the automatic checks can pick up false positives. Note, building models in microns (as a unit) can be problematic as the CAD kernels don't resolve at that scale. It's often better to build in mm or m scale using the micron value - so a 20micron channel isn't 20e-6m but is 20mm; then scale in Fluent.Â
