SubscriberI want to validate some alreaedy known Core Losses in a toroidal coil. Therefore, after designing the coil maxwell 3d (EC solutiont type) I set the bulk conductivity to 0, assigned Electrical Steel Loss Model with preknown bertotti parameters and loaded a parametric setup with different solver frequencies and excitation currents. I the eddy current settings I disabled the eddy current for the iron of the coil and enabled core loss for the iron. But after running the simulation for the parametric setup and assinging a solution, I get no losses in a result-plot. Is there something I missed?

Ansys EmployeeHello, Please check the Material Properties: make sure that the material properties, especially the electrical steel loss model parameters, are correctly assigned to the iron material of the coil. Verify that you've entered the correct values for the parameters. Also confirm that you've set up the excitation currents correctly. You can check if the current density and the magnetic flux plots are plausible. Ensure that the frequency range covers the expected operating range of your system.Last but not least, check the post-processing plots to ensure that you are looking at the right result plot for core losses.
