SubscriberHey all,Â
I have a question regarding material designer in ANSYS.
I am currently on the task on creating a composite model with specific filler specifications. For the RVE model, I am using "Random Particle". However, for the random particle, the properties that can be modified on the software are such properties like particle volume fraction or the diameter. The particle required on my case is a double-material fillers, example will be a model with a core that is made of material A and a shell made of material B. Simply a core-shell model.
Any chance I can simualte this on material designer? Or are there indirect alternatives that I can do to achieve the same goal?Â
Thank you very much! -

Ansys EmployeeDear Ralf, I advise you to look at this tutorial for user defined RVE : /knowledge/forums/topic/ansys-material-designer-user-defined-rves-representative-volume-elements/
and this discussion as well: /forum/forums/topic/how-to-combine-two-materials-and-create-a-new-material-in-ansys-workbench/
