Hello, I am simulating blood flow in the coronary artery but I want to make it realistic so what solid material should I choose in ansys fluent?

Hi Ahmed,
Steady flow in 3D Bifurcating Arteries | Ansys Courses
Check this course out. You will find this useful.

Yes, I have checked but in that course, they did not change the solid just made fluid (blood) and some other parameter.
My question is how I can make the material hyperelastic in Ansys Fluent, currently by default this is alumunium? -

The Fluent FSI component may not handle large deformation well, you may need to couple to Mechanical. I also advise doing some very careful reading around arterial wall properties, and specifically what's on the "dry" side of the artery wall.Â

Can you explain in detail how I can do this I did not get your point well.

In the body an artery is prevented from stretching by both the artery wall but also the surrounding tissue. If you neglect the latter you may find the artery deforms more than is expected.Â

In Ansys can we create this type of environment ?

other than the above question I also want to ask if I can use two fluids like blood and contrast agents i also want to simulate this.

Yes, that would be a species model; you'd have a mixture of blood and contrast.Â
You create the enviroment in exactly the same way as any model. Figuring out the artery properties & any surrounding effects will need some research & work. Have a look in the Learning section on here to see the artery example - that will give you some ideas to get started.Â

I got your point in developing the realistic environment and have also completed the Ansys innovation course on the bifurcation of the carotid artery.
In Anys Fluent what is the role of solids does it affect the results of fluids or we can neglect it only in Fluent simulations?

Solids are generally used for heat transfer if we need to include conductivity effects etc. If there is no heat transfer it's common to omit them, so we may have voids inside a domain or use thin walls around them. However, if you're working with Mechanical for FSI you may want to model the wet bit in Fluent and a solid zone in Mechanical to allow solid cells over shell elements.Â
