Is there any request regarding version of the license manager to avoid any error such as "Users of rocky_solver:  (Error: 1 licenses, unsupported by licensed server)"

      Hi Thomas,

What is the version of lmgrd and ansyslmd on your license server?
      "lmgrd -v"  and "ansyslmd -v"
      ex:
      (Linux)   /path/shared_files/licensing/linx64/lmutil -v
      (Windows) "C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\licensing\winx64\lmutil" -v

This error "(Error: 1 licenses, unsupported by licensed server)" is usually resulting from expired license features in the installed license file.
I would first suggest you remove the installed licenses and only install the latest license file provided by ANSYS.

Please run the following - share output:
      (Linux)   /path/shared_files/licensing/linx64/lmutil lmstat -i -c 1055@licenseservername  | grep rocky_solver
      (Windows) "C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\licensing\winx64\lmutil" lmstat -i -c 1055@licenseservername  | findstr "rocky_solver"

        lmutil v11.13.1.2 build 173085 x64_lsb

        rocky_solver                    9999.9999    1           30-sep-2023  ansyslmd

I understand now : we used to have rocky feature but we did not have it anymore (and it is still in our license key provided by ansys even if it's over - September 30, 2023)

Thank you very much for your help

      Hi Thomas,

Glad we were able to identify the issue. If you require the Rocky features, please reach to your ANSYS sales team.

Regarding the 11.13.1.2 version "lmgrd" - that is old and would indicate your license manager is from the ANSYS 17.2-18.2 timeframe.
You will want to consider updating your license manager to atleast 23R2 as the next version of the products will require atleast version 11.19.0.2 lmgrd/ansyslmd.

      thanks
      Randy
