      Hi All,

I used a laptop with Intel core i9-13900HX (8HPC), 32Gb-5600 RAM, NVIDIA RTX 4060 (8Gb) for multyphisic analysis. Analysis time rised to 40h and i want to reduce analysis time by using best performance of laptop. I tried to acculated GPU but i recived this massage:

Number of GPUs requested : 1 GPU Acceleration: NVIDIA Library Requested but not Enabled

GPU Device with ID = 0 is: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU

      GPU Driver Version: 12.30

      CUDA Version: 12.0

Please help me to true way fo acceleration GPU.

I also used envirement variable ANSGPU_OVERRIDE=1 and CUDA version 12.3

Hi, We only support the following GPUs officially for hardware acceleration:

      https://www.ansys.com/content/dam/it-solutions/platform-support/2022-r2-gpu-accelerator-capabilities.pdf

ANSGPU_OVERRIDE can be used for those that are not on the list above, but the performance is not guaranteed, as it may not have significant double precision performance. /forum/forums/topic/gpu-acceleration-in-mechanical/

How are you setting up the variable ANSGPU_OVERRIDE? Can you post pictures of the same? Also, try restarting your machine once after it is set correctly and see if that makes any difference?

and i recieved new massage yesterday :

Is there any chance by deactive laptop battery and use power supply to use GPU, because it look’s GPU is’nt involve in solving process
