solidworks design – discovery realtime simulation

  I read that it is possible to model with mechanical and have "immediate" feedback with discovery simulations. Is it possible to have this too with solidworks instead of mechanical ?

  Hello Mathieu,
  You should be able to use the bidirectional connectivity with CAD, where you can do the model preparation in Solidworks and can then get the real time simulations in Discovery. But this requires an additional license, please reach out to your ANSYS sales representative to know more.
  Other than this, you can import your solidworks files over to Discovery and run the simulations in real time, if you have the Discovery simulation license.
