Creating planes

  i have a flow in a curved channel....i want to create a plane which is perpendicular to the flow direction....pls refer to the image attached.

  in fluent you have different options to create a plane.
  
  best option is select three points.

  i have to create in CFD post...is there any other method than specifying three points?

  There's point and normal too: have a look through the "Locations" options for Plane & User Surface and do some reading/experimenting.
