      Hello

I'm working on an article that uses Abaqus software.

In this article, the author used ''tie'' to glue Two parts of an object.

What is the equivalent of ''tie'' in ansys apdl?

MPC Contact Or other contact algoritm with bonded behavior?

Yes, Bonded Contact is used to glue faces together in ANSYS.  There are several contact formulations that are available for Bonded Contact and MPC is the one I prefer because I like to be able to see the connection elements that are created after the solution is complete.

      Hello peteroznewman,

Thank you for answering my question.

What is the difference between bonded(always) and No Seperation (always) behavior?

Bonded is glued with no relative motion allowed.

No Separation allows 3 DOF between the faces. Planar faces in the XY plane, for example, can slide freely in the X and Y directions and rotate about Z.
