SubscriberHi all,
What should be the Y plus value range , when using Realizable K epsilon Model with Scalable Wall Function?
Thanks & Regards

Ansys EmployeeThe min yplus here is always 11.225. It is good for log-wall mesh where in some regions the local grid get refined (perhaps accidentally or due to meshing methods) and the log-wall function will then deteriorate the calculation. Using scalable wall function will avoid that deterioration.
A near wall investigation will always require at yplus in the vicinity of 1..to 5. A thermal analysis with Prandtl number larger than one will be even more restrictive.
