SubscriberHi,
Â
I have been trying to simulate a dynamic ship launch in 2D, but having set up my dynamic mesh -6DOF model, regardless of what I input, I always get an error for 6DOF object must have positive mass when I attempt to calculate.Â
I have modeled the situation as two components of gravity (acting down and along the slipway) and a free surface between two phases at the end of the slipway. Could anyone advise on why I am getting the above error and any possibilities on how to resolve it?Â
I include a screenshot of my model in my mesh, and my 6DOF settings. The COG of my vessel is at (0,0), this section has not simply been neglected.

Ansys Employeecan you please reduce your mass by 1/10th and check that is giving you trouble.Â
