SubscriberHello all,
Â
I am working on a vortex tube which has two outlets and one outlet.
my inlet conditions are pressure inlet=500 kPa and inlet temperature=300K.
outlet conditions are pressure in one outlet=101.3 kPa and pressure on the second outlet=125kPa.
I know that outlet temperatures and mass flow rate will be calculated. However, are there any ways to fix one outlet temperature too and CFX just calculate second temperature and mass flow rate?

Forum ModeratorIf there's no back flow (ie flow sucked into the domain through the outlet) then fixing the outlet temperature doesn't mean anything. If you're trying to fix the flow through one outlet too I think you can use a velocity boundary with a negative speed. I don't use CFX so please test this!Â

Ansys EmployeeNot possible to fix that. Perhaps you create another fluid domain next to the outlet and fix it but not really physical..
