SubscriberHi,
I am trying to restart my fluent transient calculation.
As far as I know how to restart simulation is [file]-[solution files]-[recover missing solution]-[select the latest CAS file] and then select calculate again.
I have saved CAS and CDAT files and tried to load the latest CAS file.
But fluent shows an error that it cannot find the dat file when I tried to load the CAS file.
Is it not able to restart simulation using CDAT?
I have searched google and this community but couldn't find an answer.
I would appreciate if someone teach me how to restart simulation.
Thank you.

Forum Moderatorcdat is a cut down data file for post processing in CFD Post: you can't read it back into Fluent. Hopefully you've also saved some dat files too and that will allow you to restart.Â
