MARIUS
SubscriberHello !
I´m doing a coupled simulation using ANSYS Fluent and EDEM. I´m simulating a coating process in a fluidized bed. My question is about the coupling interface.
I want the simulation to solve the flow-field-equations every say (50) timesteps but want to calculate the drag on the paricle for all time.
I was looking in the coupling folder but I didn´t find the right file or how to edit the code. Has someone did that before or an idea how to do it ?
Best Regards
Marius

Ansys EmployeeI am highlighting following link from DEM solution regarding the interface and support on it:

Coupling is done one at the beginning of each time step. You can try switch on / off equations via journaling on the Fluent side.
