I am currently engaged in a scientific project as part of my studies, utilizing Ansys Workbench and APDL. Despite being a novice in these applications, I am attempting to apply a heat load that is both temperature and time-dependent, similar to the methodology demonstrated in a video tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jwfPD6ZXqs
Regrettably, I am encountering an issue where my input commands appear to be overridden by the default temperature settings, preventing me from achieving the desired outcomes.
I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance on resolving this matter and aligning my approach with the procedures outlined in the referenced video. Thank you in advance for any assistance provided.

I have effectively resolved the identified issue by adding a missing comma at "hgen." Consequently, the simulation is now operational. Nevertheless, even after configuring the solver in the analysis settings for iteration, there is a persistent issue with the temperature solving process. It appears that the heat load is only considering the initial temperature. Could you offer guidance or assistance in addressing this particular concern?

Hi,
Please see if the following link helps: How to apply different initial temperatures for different parts/materials? - Ansys Knowledge

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, the issue does not stem from different initial temperature settings, but rather from the fact that the changing temperature throughout the calculation is not being retrieved. Any idea? That would help me enourmusley!
