SubscriberGood morning, i have a simple question for you:
I learned that i have to slice a component to have different mesh on the same part. When i give form new part command with share topology active, is it equivalent in analysis results than to have a single solid part?Â
thanks for the help

SubscriberWhen you slice a geometry, you can achieve a better mesh quality. By slicing you can generate sweepable bodies which can meshed with hex elements, thereby improving mesh quality and reducing the number of mesh elements.
By forming a new part with shared topology, you are creating a multi-body part but at the same time ensuring that you have a conformal mesh across all the bodies of the new part. -
