SubscriberI would like to ask about the ANSYS workbench system requirements for v19 and higher for student and research license. I intend to change my system (laptop) and would like to buy the new one on which I could smoothly run ANSYS workbench. I checked ANSYS website but couldn't find the system requirements. Could someone please provide the minimum and recommended system requirements from ANSYS developers? I intend to mostly use Mechanical.
Thank you

SubscriberJack,
This long discussion has my recommendations for a workstation and some of the tradeoffs.
Here is the list of tested graphics adapters.
I wrote some recommendations here.
The minimum requirements are very meager: Windows 10, 4 GB RAM, and a 3D graphics card that has Open-GL drivers.
Regards,
Peter

Ansys EmployeeHi Sara2212,
Please post that question in the "Physics Simulation" section of the forum.
You will get better traction there, as this is the Licensing and Installation section.

Thank you,
