      Hello everyone

I have a question regarding simulation.can we perform solid fuel combustion .and if we do that how can i start it from ground level.

Yes Check for tutorials dealing with Coal combustion. Please provide some more details about the reactions and the fuel and how does it look: solid particles, or solid block,..?

      Hi abenhadj,

I want to simulate a solid block of wood being auto-ignited from a temperature of 300 degreesC. Would there be any way to do that in Fluent? I've tried doing a inert particle for wood and having an inlet of 300 degrees, but that did not work.

There is, but it'll mean using UDFs and moving mesh or UDFs and some major work with the Eulerian multiphase model.
