SubscriberI an simulating a steam turbine rotor stress analysis using the Multi Stage Cyclic feature.
Everithing goes well and stress result are consistent and as expected.
Just wondering if there is a way to calculate reaction forces on a constraint of one of the stages.
I know that for such kind of simulation it can not be directly probed from the Solution tab but maybe there is some other way to calculate.
Thank you

Ansys EmployeeThe APDL documentation implies it's not possible. It doesn't list any of the commands that would be used, such as PRRSOL and PRRFOR, as being supported and explicitly says FSUM results will be wrong. It's not obvious why reactions forces aren't supported as msopt, expa creates a full model with results. You could try issuing these commands in a commands object just to see if perhaps they are not blocked and might work for your application. Â
