Thank you for your question. If I am not mistaken by the screenshot, you are using Ansys Maxwell software. Could you provide some more details on your issue? Have you assigned your coil to a current or a voltage winding source? Also, have you checked if this ring is showing up as a recognized conductive path under excitations > right click > conduction paths > show conduction paths?
Finally, I can see on the screenshot that the time showing on the 3D modeler is -1. If you have made sure that the conduction path is correct, also the excitation is okay, and the design has simulated without any errors, then probably it's just a representation issue. The 3D modeler is showing you the field results for the time instance written at the bottom left box. Time = -1 shows no results. You can double click on the box to change the time instance shown on the 3D modeler. If everything is alright, you should see results.Â
