Restricting deformation upto certain length in particular direction

In the given figure because of the buckling due to applied load in -Y direction, highlighted green edge will deform in X direction but i want to deform it upto 30mm in x direction so if i will give displacement boundary condition on this edge, it will capture the actual deformation of this body in case of buckling?

Hi, you can create a rigid surface at a distance of 30mm in the x-direction and define a contact between the edge and surface.
